Dear Friends,
As we celebrate Juneteenth and remember the long struggle for some kind of freedom for enslaved African Americans, we know we want to continue to be part of this path of freedom.
VOLAR is inviting you to join us on this path of 'freedom forward' as we begin the process for renovation of two buildings that will house healing, community organizing, and wealth-building opportunities for our mostly low-income Black neighbors.
We’re kicking off our crowdsourcing campaign today for architectural fees and invite you to support us in this effort.
